Nigeria has entered into an agreement with Korea to increase cassava production. The first phase of the agreement will be executed in four of the country's 36 states.
National Anti Poverty Eradication Project (NAPEP) Secretary, Abdulganiu Obatoyinbo, said the governments of Enugu, Kogi, Plateau and Ogun have already expressed enthusiasm to provide lands for the project. He said centers would be located in the rural areas of cassava farmers of those states as pilot schemes.
