Every day we hear in the different media that the Namibian government is planning to expropriate more farms.
My question to the government is: "Why?".
Is the government taking land to show that they have the power to do so? Or are they taking land just for the sake of doing it? I just don't get it, because the land reform does not benefit the poor people of this country.
It does not contribute to the economy of the country. Because the expropriated farms are given to people who have millions in their accounts already. It is only benefiting the rich, while we the poor people get poorer.
I wish that the High Court would deny Government the right to continue with this. The courts should protect the farms that contribute to the economy of our country.
Every day people are searching for jobs and the Government is taking jobs away from the citizens.
What is that? Our leaders should stop this and be more realistic.
